Michael Moore Quartet on tour March and April

The Michael Moore Quartet is touring this spring, starting March 7 in the Bimhuis. After a few European gigs in March, the quartet will cross over the Atlantic for an American tour in April.

Doek @ OT – Feb 20 Mars Williams + Dikeman, Kugel, Van der Weide

The great Mars Williams is in town and we are very happy to present him at Doek @ OT as a special guest with the trio Dikeman, Kugel, van der Weide. Mars has worked with Klaus Kugel before, touring throughout Europe, as well as performed with John Dikeman and Raoul van der Weide in Europe and Chicago so it makes perfect sense to team him up with this trio.

Mars Williams is an open-minded musician, composer and educator who commutes easily between free jazz, funk, hip-hop and rock.…

doek@zaalWolter Wierbos will be hosting this months edition of Doek @ Zaal. He’s inviting two artists that he’s been working with for years: Felix Strategier of Theatergroep Flint, and guitarist and Boi Akih member Niels Brouwer. Wolter will interview them both and do some improvising as well.
