Kaja Draksler is a pianist and composer who is continually evolving and growing as an improviser, proving to be one of the shining stars of the youngest generation of improvisers globally. Aside from possessing virtuosic technique and stellar listening capabilities, her studious nature has allowed her to glean a great understanding of jazz and “classical” form and harmony, with a healthy sense of folk music as a kicker.

John Dikeman, originally from Wyoming, burst onto the Amsterdam scene 10 years ago, bringing with him a ferocious sensibility to the saxophone with an emphasis on pure sound and expression. His playing draws on the history of what could be called American free jazz but with a knowledge of various more European approaches sometimes termed non-idiomatic improvisation. Having performed since an early age all over the world in a wide range of settings, jazz, blues, classical, and even Arabic music have informed his sensibilities to make him a surprisingly versatile player.…

One of the most active musicians in the Netherlands, Jasper Stadhouders is not only busy playing guitar and bass but also composing for projects including the PolyBand, Cactus Truck, Spinifex and trio Stadhouders / Govaert / De Joode among many others. He’s also a member of numerous international ensembles such as Ken Vandermark’s Made to Break, and the trio Rempis / Stadhouders / Rosaly. Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti is a captivating performer capable of electrifying audiences. Born in Bolivia, she grew up in Brazil, studied classical piano, modern and contemporary dance, was part of various music and dance ensembles in both countries, then moved to Amsterdam to follow the Mime School at the Amsterdam University of the Arts, where she now teaches.
Currently, Ibelisse works as a theater maker, visual artist, musician, performance artist and teacher in various collaborations.…
