Michael Moore is hosting three special concerts at Splendor this winter. Starting in January, he will perform trio with long time collaborator Rogerio Bicudo and young bassist and vocalist with a mesmerizing voice, Magali Datzira. Then in February, a special edition of his Fragile Quartet featuring the incomparable Gerry Hemingway on drums.…

All Ellington is about to release their first CD on de Platenbakkerij label and will be celebrating later this month at the Bimhuis. It’s becoming something of a year-end tradition for All Ellington to present their reinterpretations of Ellington’s elegant compositions at the Bim.
