Wolter Wierbos has performed around the world as a soloist as well as with his open ensemble, Wollo’s World, which features him performing with a wide range of other artists. Coming up this fall, he will perform at the great Festival Oltramente in Italy. Then in October he will make his UK debut as a soloist at the Marsden Jazz Festival followed by Wollo World’s UK debut as part of the wonderful Jazz Northeast program in Newcastle. This edition of Wollo’s World features the inspiring and up-and-coming UK based John Pope on bass and Emil Karlsen on drums.
