Angels’ Share and Doek at Westergasfabriek

angels21 June – 31 August Exhibition of sculptures by Herbert Nouwens with performances from Doek musicians
Doek will be interacting with Angels’ Share, a large sculpture exhibition by Herbert Nouwens, with 25 pieces spread around Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek and Sint Barbara cemetery. First up is ‘Little big band’ Available Jelly who will kick off at 4 pm during the exhibition opening on Saturday 21 June. Every Saturday afternoon at 5 pm, from 28 June until 23 August, a different improviser will give a solo performance at one of the sculptures. Interested listeners can gather at the sculpture Angels’ Share (in the photo) to find out where the solo concert will take place. The exhibition will close on Sunday 31 August with a mobile performance from the Bakfietsband.
