De Amsterdamse scene voor jazz, geïmproviseerde en andere avontuurlijke muziek moet beter in kaart gebracht worden. Vrijwel dagelijks spelen en organiseren de meest creatieve muzikanten op uiteenlopende plekken in de hoofdstad: kleine én grote podia tot en met intieme huiskamerconcerten en eenmalige initiatieven.
Om een georganiseerde agenda te ontwikkelen en bij te houden, zoeken we naar een groep enthousiaste mensen van muzikanten, muziekfanaten en/of organisatoren die een paar uur in de maand willen besteden aan hetgeen wat bruisende wereldsteden als Berlijn en Chicago wél hebben, maar Amsterdam ontbeert en zo nodig heeft: een overzichtelijk beeld van wat er per dag te zien en horen is.
We zoeken naar mensen die voor minimaal zes maanden betrokken willen zijn en feeling hebben met de scene. De groep vrijwilligers houdt zich bezig met het benaderen en enthousiasmeren van muzikanten en organisatoren om alle optredens en andere initiatieven op de website te vermelden, instructie te geven, eventueel te redigeren en hierin een juiste format in vinden.
We beloven een uitbreiding van je muzieknetwerk, vele gratis concerten, fikse kortingen en natuurlijk een grote waardering van iedereen in de gemeenschap van experimentele muziek.

Wanted: enthusiastic people to put the Amsterdam adventurous music scene on the map
The Amsterdam scene for jazz, improvised and other adventurous music deserves to be better known. Almost daily, creative musicians play and organize concerts in diverse places in the city: from large and small venues to intimate house concerts and one-off initiatives.
We are looking for a group of enthusiastic musicians, fans or organisers who have a few hours in the month to develop and maintain a well-organised calendar, so that Amsterdam finally has something comparable to that of those flourishing scenes in Berlin and Chicago: a clear and concise picture of what there is to see and hear on a daily basis.
We are looking for people who are willing to commit for at least 6 months and who have feeling for the scene. The group of volunteers will be responsible for approaching musicians and organisers and encouraging and helping them to post all their performances and other activities on the website. The volunteers will also edit and adjust the website to fit the needs of all involved.
In return we offer an expansion of your music network, plenty of free concerts, big discounts and of course immense gratitude from everyone in the creative music community.
