The Bimhuis has been around for 45 years and is celebrating its birthday with a new super group curated by Doek’s own Oscar Jan Hoogland. Oscar selected musicians that show the wide range of music that has passed through the Bimhuis and influenced him personally. The mus great jazz heroes, South African music, ICP and Misha Mengelberg, New Dutch Swing, New Cool Collective, The Ex, electronic music, conduction, free impro and the youngest group of musicians.
