Michael Moore Fragile Quartet tour, new releases

Michael Moore’s Fragile Quartet has existed since 2007 and, as could be expected by the name, presents his music in the most intimate of settings. With every tour for the quartet, Michael composes new material and these concerts will explore compositions from the latest quartet album, “Cretan Dialogues“.

Also available at all concerts, two additional new releases on Michael’s own Ramboy Recordings.
Sanctuary” showcases Michael with the NDR Big Band featuring special guests Florian Weber and Tom Rainey performing a combination of newer originals and new arrangements of older material from the Moore songbook.

Slips” came from a breathtaking improvised performance in Amsterdam’s Splendor including long time collaborator Gerry Hemingway and the great Barre Phillips.
