Last June, saxophonist, clarinetist and composer Michael Moore was invited to curate one week at the Stone, one of New York City’s leading venues for improvised and new music. This gave Michael the opportunity to work with many of the top players in the New York scene. It was for this occasion that he first put together the trio with virtuoso ECM recording artists Sylvie Courvoiser and Mark Feldman to create an open-structured chamber music ensemble.
