Bioluminus is an Amsterdam-based free jazz trio formed in 2021 by Argentinian saxophonist Ada Rave, Canadian contrabassist Aaron Lumley and Dutch drummer Onno Govaert. The group’s music combines the propulsive flow of energy music, with a subtly attuned approach to collective improvisation. Bioluminus has performed at venues across the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Their debut self-titled CD was released on Doek RAW recordings in late 2023.
