This April John Dikeman completed his first ever solo tour performing 23 concerts in one month across the USA. Aside from solos John also collaborated with Ava Mendoza, James Brandon Lewis, Rob Mazurek, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Stefan Gonzalez, Jonathan F. Horne, Death Posture, Adam Shead, Owen Davis, Chris Merz and more. Photographer Sara Anke also joined for part of the trip to document the hours one the road, travelling through the south. During Doek’s two festival nights on 14 and 15 June the Bimhuis will be transformed into a bustling market with stalls, performers, dancers, rabble rousers and, of course, lots of music! Friday’s market theme is City, Saturday is a Bazaar.
